From AI to sand-casting to public installation

This project traces a planned transformation—from digital to analog, from an AI-generated sketch to a sand-cast relief, refined and hand-finished. The stone mason is both figure and metaphor: an echo of Southern Italy's materials and history, and its ongoing work of renewal. Sponsored by the Mayor of Camini for the Kaminion Festival, the piece is now permanently installed in the town, linking new tools to traditional craft and new technology to traditional techniques.
